Why WCAG Is The Foundation Of Accessible Web Design

One of the most important standards is WCAG – the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. These are the global rules that define how web content should be written, structured, and presented so that disabled people can use it without barriers.
There is nothing optional about accessibility. Inclusive design means thinking about everyone from the start. That is why we created a new YouTube video explaining exactly what WCAG is, where it came from, and why it is vital now more than ever.
WCAG has gone through several versions since it launched in 1999. The latest version, WCAG 2.2, is the one that businesses need to be aware of before the new EU law comes into force on 28 June.
