Just do it properly!

Text reads, Coding errors are not usually fatal but it is better if you just do it properly. A small cartoon of a person typing at a computer desk is placed on the left. ACCESSBYDESIGN.UK is at the bottom right.

If you cannot write code yourself but you still want to build websites, what do you do? You buy other people’s code and use that instead. Nothing wrong in that, it is how the vast majority of websites are built. The problem, however, is that when buying other people’s code, you are also buying any coding errors that may be present.

Errors are not the end of the world. Most website have some. Many websites have a lot but they all still look fine. So why does it matter?

It matters to Google, that is why. Google analyses code in milliseconds and compares every website to the standards that were originally specified in 1999.

Yes, that is right, 21 years ago. That is how long these “building regs” for websites have been around.

It all boils down to one simple principle: code it properly and do not cut corners.

When we launch our websites, they contain no coding or accessibility errors.

This is what you get with us at Access by Design and is what makes us different.
